AMR Metering Solutions

 

Meter readers often encounter several obstacles during their meter routes : Meters can be difficult to access, second houses are usually unoccupied weekdays, people are generally away from their home or are reluctant to open their doors to strangers, etc… Radio meter reading was therefore designed and introduced in order to get round these obstacles. Once again, our experience and knowledge of the market have enabled us to integrate several radio solutions which some of them are reliable and highly performant. These systems offer either one or two complementary interrogation systems; the user can switch between them.

• The two-way system enables the meter reader to remotely read one particular meter by radio. In order to operate this way, the meter-reader uses his Hand Held computer to pick from his defined meter which he wishes to read.
• The global-interrogation system enables the meter-reader to interrogate several meters simultaneously without having to choose the order in which to read them. The Hand Held computer software takes care of the meter readings attributions, so the meter reader does not have to do a linear point-by-point reading route. This solution is the most suitable for submetering use.

The DIOPTASE radio system is the ideal solution for submetering installations. You can collect several hundreds of readings and see their immediate reading status displayed.

With the PSION WorkAboout Pro, the meter reading software can filter specific criteria (e.g. meters not yet read, etc…) and define his reading route himself. This flexible system provides normally 100% meter readings in a short time.
